St. Armand’s Circle Outdoor Wedding
April 17th, 2009 by Leslie

St. Armand’s Key has a lovely park right in the middle, called St. Armand’s Circle. This tree lined park has a big grassy area in the middle & is surrounded by upscale boutique, spas, restaurants & shops. Walking distance to Lido Beach, the sea breeze always keeps air moving. Still, plan on scheduling your wedding ceremony late in the day to avoid the harsh Florida sun. Trees will shade most of the sight after 4:00 or 5:00. Just make sure to allow time for your sunset beach portraits with the photographer and videographer.

St. Armand’s Circle is an open park with cars going by, bars and restaurants playing music, and all that goes along with that. I guess it’s part of the ambiance and charm; to have the true character of a favorite location as part of your wedding day. Many of us love St. Armand’s Circle for what it is and it’s a nostalgic spot for many reasons. If you really connect with the location, I’d highly recommend it. The trees and lawn make it a lovely place for a wedding ceremony. The proximity to Lido Beach is great for your wedding portraits at sunset too! If you’re sensitive to noise and other people being around, you may want to consider a private location like Lakewood Ranch or Boca Royale Country Club. I highly recommend Lido Beach Resort & the Ritz-Carlton Members Beach Club, which is right down the street. They can give you a quieter location with the sound of surf and seagulls. You can get married outdoors & I’m pretty sure you won’t hear any noise from traffic.
